Random Thought About Pleasure

by Jordan on October 11, 2005

Here’s a thought: there is a multi-million dollar a year industry that designs products that give women pleasure. All men need is themselves. Did evolution COMPLETELY forget about women having pleasure? Yeah, don’t worry, read on…it gets worse.

So yes we all know (actually I just found out) that women don’t usually climax as easily as men. Yes I know society tells women not to be sexual beings but c’mon…men are designed to procreate easily which is directly connected to their orgasm. Women on the other hand…not so much.

Why is that? I mean…let’s be frank, why give woman a button and then make it slightly out of the way? Just enough so that women buy over $18 million a year on the products mentioned above (which most often don’t even work).

There really isn’t a conclusion to this rant. I just find it interesting/unfair/odd/logical that men are made for pleasure and gratification and women are geared towards being more selective. I guess back in the cave man times since there is no way for the woman to enjoy it she’s really only doing it to find a suitable mate.

But what the hell do I know…I’m just a guy. I’d love to hear what you women think.

OK, first off…how the heck did they conduct that study about orgasms? I mean, c’mon…”Subject Male is up, tell him to start jerking off. OK, ok…that was 3 minutes. Now let’s wake up Subject Woman.” And after 10 and a half minutes of having no clue whatsoever as to how to get the poor woman off, on the 11th minute she finally just says she climaxed so they all can go home.

And yes, men love breasts. I guess I didn’t really have to reiterate that since I really don’t have any point of further conclusion. But, there it is.

And giving a woman an orgasm is not all about bragging rights. It’s also a turn on and it helps you fall asleep because they don’t let you fall asleep until they have one (or more).

I think men just wanted to work on things that made sense (electricity, quantum physics, organic chemistry) instead of women that no book could ever fully explain.

A healthy human female can reach orgasm 11 minutes after she wakes up. A male can do so in just 3. Anyone surprised? No, I didn’t think so.
Women are harder to please because it was necessary back in the good old days when we were living in caves and such. Girls got off on being loved because they needed some bastard who’d stick around to take care of the kids, guys got off on a great set of tits because tits are fun. I love tits, and I’m not ashamed to say so.
We’re lucky that women are relatively hard to please, really. If anyone makes a woman orgasm, they feel like they’ve accomplished something significant. It’s about bragging rights. It’s a matter of honour, of pride, and we don’t care if she was faking it.
Us guys saw that women were having a hard time, so we invented electricity, the motor, and latex. You women owe us for that.

i have to agree and it is turn on to receive directions as long as they are helpful and not “well, this is gonna take awhile…” Remember ladies, men are sensitive beasts.

I think asking for direction is actually a turn on. (no pun intended?)
I got into blogging through a friend and happened to come across your site while searching :)

hey I just said that it doesn’t make it any easier…I never said that it wasn’t easy for me. Well, at least I suppose.

I do agree with you though, no harm in asking as long as you ask in the right way. “What the hell am i doing wrong?” is probably the wrong approach.

“That doesn’t make it any easier for them to receive it. =)”

perhaps you’re just not doing the right thing! ask for a little direction maybe.

yes, women have it tough. guys either don’t know what the hell is going on, don’t care, or a little of both.

I’m curious btw, how did you find my blog?

Of course I’m still reading! I always enjoy your blogs and actually you’ve inspired me to begin my own. Well, begin to actually write, that is.
Women are born actresses. You’ve totally been underestimating our talent -atleast in that respect. Cue the famous restaurant scene from When Harry Met Sally.
    I rest my case.

First off glad you enjoyed the blog…glad you’re still reading. =)

Damn Eve and her damn apple–i like apples but i think i could stay away from one to stay in paradise. personally.

And what do you mean “fakers?” I fake my orgasms all the time but I never knew women could do the same…

  • http://www.blogger.com/profile/03152536800609842574 nyclola

You’re absolutely right. Just because we women want it certainly doesn’t mean it’s easy to have. I really enjoyed this blog…it’s totally true. At this point all we can do is blame Eve and her damn apple.
p.s. this is just a recent discovery for you? Seems to me you’ve been with one too many “fakers”. but great blog.

i completely agree that women want pleasure just as much as men do. That doesn’t make it any easier for them to receive it. =)

PS. What’s the deal with the guy you left you speechless?

Some interesting ideas… I think in this day an age women want pleasure just as much as men do. They just want it to last a little longer…

PS: Thanks for the message on my blog!
